Bruce Moore – Group Chief Executive

Bruce is responsible for the overall leadership, management and performance of the Hanover Group.  He is committed to developing a cohesive sense of purpose and commitment that will position Hanover as the leader in the provision of housing and support services for older people.

Barry Hindson - Group Strategic Projects Director

Barry concentrates on key strategic projects and initiatives that require transitional management.  This includes the creation of a national service and support centre, focus on expanding the choice for residents, and the review of major procurement contracts.  His function also focuses on maintaining our comprehensive network of relationships.

Norrie Courts - Group Property and Development Director

Norrie takes the responsibility for one of Hanover’s central resource functions, focussing on the delivery of our development programme, new business relationships and product development.  Facilities Management and Asset Management complete his remit for ensuring our properties are maintained to a high standard.

Barbara Matthews - Group Finance and Resources Director

Barbara is responsible for Finance and Resources central resource function at Hanover.  Her role brings together the main finance processing functions linked to a business support centre and planning and treasury.  The management and support for Hanover’s people resources, the coordination of company secretary activities and the investment in Information Systems is also within Barbara’s remit.

Tony Tench - Group ExtraCare and Services Director

Managing one of our operational functions, Tony is responsible for maintaining and enhancing our focus on ExtraCare, and leading in the development of new property models and service specifications.  Also within this function is the integration of other Hanover services, including Hanover Heritage, developing our home improvement agency service and our 24 hour alarm service provision, Hanover On Call.

Vera Brearey - Group Retirement Housing Director

This operational area brings together the experience from our specialist leasehold management service and the management of our rented retirement housing across the country.   Vera is also responsible for developing our individual estate service commitments and reviewing service charge processes.
