Development Finance and Insurance Analyst, St Neots (Fixed term to September 2018)

What you’ll be doing

In this role you will provide financial analysis of the Group’s property development activities and general insurance programme, providing expert financial support and high levels of customer service. Your duties will include:

  • Monitoring and reporting financial data on current property developments to aid business decision making, providing a commentary and explanation of variances as necessary
  • Ensuring business cashflows and other forecasts are reported consistently and kept up to date
  • Proactively engaging with project managers to report progress on developments
  • Collating and recording all information required for tender of Hanover’s general insurance programme
  • Monitoring of insurance claims and maintenance of monthly reporting
Who we need

We need a self-motivated excellent communicator who is able to quickly gain the respect of non-financial managers. Previous experience of accounting for property developments is desirable but not essential. You must have:

  • Strong accounting skills and experience of month end financial reporting
  • CIMA/ACCA part qualification or equivalent
  • Ability to prioritise and deliver to deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Intermediate Excel skills
