Hanover Court residents enjoy 'story soup'
Residents at Hanover Court, Filton held a get together with a difference recently after inviting a professional story teller to the estate.
The residents hold a regular monthly event to help celebrate birthdays that have happened on the estate and the occasions, which involve everyone bringing along a plate of food to share, are always thoroughly enjoyed by all who attend.
However, professional story teller Martin Maudsley’s attendance ensured that November’s event was the most captivating evening to date. Martin’s passion, enthusiasm and sense of fun kept everyone entertained as he regaled the audience with tales from his grandfather.
Finishing the evening by playing the balailika and singing Martin was a huge hit with residents and they hope to invite him back soon.
