Our Lettings Officer Toni has worked for Hanover since November 2009
When a friend who works at Hanover suggested applying for a job here, she told me they were a fantastic company to work for. Knowing she had always commented on ‘loving her job’ I applied through the vacancies section of the Hanover website.
I have now been with Hanover for four months, and can honestly say – much like my friend – that I love my job. No two days are ever the same at Hanover! My role is extremely varied and busy, and extremely fulfilling. It’s lovely to help older people and very touching when you know you have made a difference to their quality of life by providing them with a place to live, love and call their own.
The best thing about my job is the training aspect – I like it that Hanover understands the importance of learning and I can definitely say that I do learn something new every day. The people I work with are fantastic and we always have a fun, friendly atmosphere in the office. I feel I have settled in well and have met some amazing people from all walks of life. The other great aspect of working for Hanover is the support on offer from colleagues and management, everybody is happy to help you and make you feel welcome! I would most definitely suggest Hanover to anybody who is looking for a fantastic new company to work for, who values its staff and residents alike.
