Hanover manager shortlisted in 2015 Housing Heroes Awards
11 May 2015
Hanover employee Nick Hodgskin has been shortlisted from almost 200 entries in the 2015 Housing Heroes Awards. These awards are in their seventh year and showcase the people and teams that are doing exceptional work in the social/affordable housing sector.
Nick, a project manager with Hanover, is one of seven people left in the running for the Young Professional of the Year category.
According to the awards nomination, Nick 'asserts authority and confidence far beyond his years'.
Last year he managed the integration of former Network Stadium homes, which comprised of 382 leaseholder and 32 rental properties, and staff into Hanover’s portfolio. He also defined and developed a new style of age-exclusive housing – Downsizer Homes – which Hanover will launch in 2015.
Nick says: ‘I am delighted to have been nominated for the award and will be on the edge of my seat until the winner is announced next month.’
The event is organised by Inside Housing magazine and the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) and attracted an impressive response with submissions from the length and breadth of the UK.
The winners will be revealed at an awards ceremony in the Exchange Hall at Manchester Central on Monday 22 June.
