Hanover Housing Association, in partnership with award-winning housebuilder Hill, has appointed the Currell Group to act as exclusive agents for its latest Downsizer Homes development, Quadra, in Hackney.

The exciting new development on Lansdowne Drive comprises 29 spacious, age-exclusive apartments for older people. They are arranged around a landscaped courtyard facing onto London Fields park, taking the form of two clusters that each step upwards from the back of the site towards the front and are joined at their lowest point by a single storey element. The development  has been designed so that every lounge and dining space has a view of the park.

Claire Anderson, Deputy Director of Development at Hanover, said: 'Quadra is the latest offering in our Downsizer Homes portfolio, creating a truly appealing, age-exclusive development. Each apartment is beautifully designed, is easily accessible and gives potential downsizers something both tangible and aspirational to think about.

'We are delighted to be working with Currell as they have a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the Hackney area that will bring the creativity and experience needed to market this exclusive new development.'

Benjamin Hobart, Associate Director of New Homes at Currell, said: 'This is a project that Currell had been following closely for a number of years and we are really looking forward to the launch of this exciting new development. This is a great example of a well thought through development which will give purchasers the opportunity to have one of East London’s most iconic open spaces on their doorstep and in many cases, visible from their own living rooms.'

Hanover’s Downsizer Homes range emerged after the housing group identified a gap in the market for contemporary, tailor-made homes for people aged over 55. Each bespoke development is designed to high standards by award-winning architects, and set in attractive, well-connected and aspirational locations.
