Local facilities

Andover is a large town in Hampshire close to the historic cathedral towns of Salisbury and Winchester.  It has many amenities including golf clubs, parks, lakes, woodland walks, a sports centre with swimming pool and a good selection of shops. It also has a thriving bowls club and a farmers’ market with over 100 stalls.

Interesting local sites

Andover is very close the World Heritage site of Stonehenge. Closer to the town is Rooksbury Mill, one of the few surviving windmills in Andover. The existence of Rooksbury Mill is first recorded by name in the 17th century. Nearby Winchester is the home of the award-winning Blue Apple Theatre, an inclusive company of actors with and without learning disability.

The development is conveniently situated just off the A303, near junction 8 of the M3. Regular bus services run to nearby Winchester, Basingstoke, and Salisbury. Andover is served by a mainline station with frequent trains running into Salisbury, Exeter and London Waterloo.
