Eldon Square and the Intu Metro shopping centre offer shoppers heaps of choice.

The Gateshead Millennium Bridge is the world’s first and only tilting bridge and marks the entrance to the Quayside, an area that has been completely regenerated. The Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art is an art-lover’s dream. The Sage Gateshead’s has become a renowned venue offering a diverse programme of musical events.
The area is home to two famous football clubs and they are passionate about rugby league and rugby football too! There are some great cycle routes around the town and plenty of sports facilities, including those at the Gateshead International Stadium.
Conveniently situated on the A167 Durham Road, just off the A1, Hanover Court is well placed for access to all amenities. Regular bus services run to nearby Newcastle and Sunderland from the city centre - and Newcastle has a mainline railway station with frequent services to London Kings Cross, York, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
In the centre there are Metro underground stations giving easy access around the town and to the splendid beaches of the north east coastal resorts.
