Nailsworth is a tranquil Gloucestershire market town renowned for its old mills and working water wheels, lying in a wooded valley in the Cotswolds. The town has a supermarket, art galleries, monthly farmers’ market, cafés, restaurants and character inns, plus high-quality shops including a bakers and delicatessen.

The surrounding area

Nailsworth lies in a wooded valley on the A46, just over 20 miles north of Bath and 18 miles south of Cheltenham. Nearby are the Badminton and Gatcombe Park estates, both world famous for their horse trials. Highgrove, the home of Prince Charles, is a few miles away near the historic town of Tetbury. 

There are many fine walks in the area and the Cotswold Way, one of the best walks in England, covers 105 miles of the most beautiful scenery in the country. Westonbirt Arboretum has 600 acres of wonderful countryside and is a riot of colour in the autumn. It also hosts a variety of concerts, festivals, plays and other entertainment.

The development is conveniently situated just off the A46, not far from junction 13 of the M5. Regular bus services run to nearby Wotton-under-Edge, Gloucester and Cheltenham.  The local station at Stroud is served by a mainline station with frequent trains running into London Paddington.
