Maidstone is the county town of Kent, located around 30 miles from London. The town is a shopper’s paradise with the Mall Maidstone and Fremlin Walk providing over one million square feet of retail floor space.  King Street and Middle Row are also worth a visit. Lockmeadow Centre on the riverside has a multiplex cinema and good choice of restaurants. There are three theatres in the town which provide a good variety of plays and shows.

Mote Park, in the centre of the town, is a popular lake shared by the local sailing club, fishing enthusiasts and walkers alike.  Maidstone also has a new football stadium, a rowing club, a tennis club and the numerous leisure centres.  Maidstone is surrounded by lovely countryside and the North Downs Way, which incorporates the Pilgrims' Way to Canterbury, runs for 153 miles between Farnham, Surrey, and Dover. Leeds Castle, described by some as the most beautiful castles in the world is situated just outside the town.

How to get here

The development is conveniently situated just off the A229 Loose Road to the south of the city. Regular bus services run to nearby Chatham, Tunbridge Wells and the Bluewater shopping centre. Maidstone has two mainline stations with frequent trains running into London Charing Cross.
