The annual Nottingham Goose Fair, held during the first week of October, is one of the largest and oldest travelling fairs in Europe.

Location and transport links

Lilian Hind Court is situated in Bulwell, not far from the A610 and Junction 26 of the M1. The M1 motorway and rail services connect to many major cities including Leeds, Sheffield, Derby, Manchester and London, while bus services run from Nottingham to locations throughout the country. The East Midlands airport is also nearby. Trams run from the city centre to Hucknall and the Phoenix Park and Ride close to Junction 26 of the M1 - additional routes currently under construction will connect to the Queen Medical Centre Hospital.
