Cleethorpes is a seaside town in North East Lincolnshire, approximately three miles south of Grimsby. The main shopping area is in St Peter's Avenue. The Cleethorpes leisure centre contains a swimming pool, gym and a sports hall. The town has a great selection of sports on offer including cricket, football and ten pin bowling. The resort also boasts over four miles of Blue Flag award-winning beaches and a wide promenade.

The Cleethorpes Discovery Centre & Boating Lake has exhibitions, cafes, the ABP Humber Observatory, and a range of activities that can be enjoyed by families all year round.
To the south of the resort near Humberston is a yacht club.
Operating along Cleethorpes coast is the last surviving steam light railway on the east coast of England. There are special events all year round and you can visit the smallest pub in the world at The Signal Box Inn.
Grimsby has the Fishing Heritage Centre, an award winning museum which recreates local maritime history with authentic smells and a moving deck.
Machray Place is located just off the A180 Grimsby Road. Local bus services run to Grimsby, Immingham and nearby villages.
Cleethorpes railway station has regular trains running to Grimsby, Barton-upon-Humber, Manchester airport and Sheffield.
