For most of our Extra Care Housing estates we have agreements with the local authority to let a percentage of our vacant properties to people nominated by them. Local area information
Upton Court Park is Slough’s main sports park, offering a host of clubs and activities plus natural parkland with stunning views of Windsor Castle. For nature lovers there are streamside walks, woodland and wetland areas. Annually a bonfire and fireworks display is held at the park.
Slough Community Leisure has eight venues in the town offering three gyms, entertainment, ten pin bowling lanes and pool tables.
Art and culture
The West Wing is an entertainment venue with a 250 seat auditorium, dance studio, meetings rooms, exhibition space and free parking.
The Curve will be Slough’s impressive new learning and cultural centre (planned to open summer 2015) and will house a library, education facilities for adults, a café and a cultural centre for the town.
Slough is a town in Berkshire, about 20 miles west of Charing Cross, London. Northampton Place is easily accessed from the A355 and junction 6 of the M4, from where you can reach the M25. It is bisected by the A4 and near London, Heathrow Airport, Uxbridge, Maidenhead and Staines.
