Winnersh is a village in Berkshire very close to Reading and Wokingham. There is the usual selection of large shops and out of town shopping centres close by and a showcase multiplex cinema is just on the edge of the village.
Places to visit
Dinton Pastures Country Park is a beautiful park and popular with families, nature lovers and walkers. Winnersh Meadows on the southern side of the village has an orchard, a wildflower meadow and various wetland habitats which attract great crested newts.
Location and transport links
Winnersh has excellent transport links. It is minutes from the A329 Wokingham to Reading Road which then connects to the M4. Winnersh Station connects to the main Reading mainline station which has a good service to major cities in the South East.
There is also a regular bus service that runs every 20 minutes through the centre of the village between Reading and Bracknell via Wokingham.
