Press Release
A new 24 hour care suite which is set to significantly increase the provision for on site care for older people in Hackney will be officially opened by Councillor Nargis Khan, Cabinet Member for Community Service on Friday 4th September.
Ashley Court, which is managed in partnership with Hackney Council and part of the borough’s Supported Housing with Care programme, is an example of how Hanover is reinventing retirement housing to meet the needs of future generations of older people.
The supported housing with care programme was developed in partnership with Hackney Council whereby five Hanover sheltered housing developments will have care teams based on site, enabling people with higher support and care needs to live in their own flats for longer.
