Research
While the number of older people in society is rising, relatively little is known about their future needs. Hanover’s research programme seeks to clarify the views and needs of older people –including people who currently live in Hanover properties as well as those who might choose to do so in future.
Using both qualitative and quantitative methods, we use the findings and conclusions of our studies to inform our work so that we can build better homes and more effectively manage our properties in line with what our residents want. Our research is topical and contributes to current political and social issues, making it invaluable in our lobbying to central and local government to improve standards of living for older people everywhere.
Our research activity spans a range of issues and is carried out by commissioning work from external bodies as well as using our in-house resources.
