Interested? Then we have an exciting opportunity for an Estate Manager to join the team at our busy Chandlers Ford estate, managing rented flats and bungalows.

What you’ll be doing

As an Estate Manager you’ll be customer focused, flexible, have a strong passion for older people’s independence and rights and reflect our shared values in your day-to-day activities. You’ll need strong inter-personal skills and enjoy a working day with lots of variety.

Key responsibilities

  • Working with residents, helping them access health and social services, and encourage inclusion in social events
  • Help new residents settle into their homes in a positive and respectful way
  • Arrange repairs to residents' homes and the communal areas of the estate
  • Manage contractors in a proactive way to ensure homes are well maintained, and repairs are completed to a high standard and in a timely manner
  • Manage cleaning and gardening contractors to ensure the estate is always clean and tidy
  • Make sure that health and safety checks are carried out in line with our policies

Who we need

You do not need to have previous estate or housing experience, as we’ll provide an in-depth training programme covering all aspects of estate practice.

We need people who are friendly, customer focused, calm and have the ability to work with a wide range of people from different backgrounds, as well as having a ‘can do’ attitude to problem solving. Being computer literate and having strong administrative skills is also essential.
