Housing Assistant (Wellbeing), Bath 


Salary: £21,874 per annum (pro rata)

Hours: 17.5 hours per week (9.30am – 4.00pm Tuesday and Thursday and 10.00am - 3.30pm on either Saturday or Sunday on a rota basis)

What you’ll be doing

This role involves providing an outstanding front-line housing management service at an Extra Care Housing estate. You’ll provide outstanding customer service which will include promoting resident engagement and facilitation of social inclusion activities for customers and the outer community.  Delivering group activities that stimulate and increase customers feeling of wellbeing. You will support residents and work as part of a team to deliver a seamless service.

Key responsibilities

  • Supporting the Extra Care Estate Manager in the smooth running of the estate
  • Maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Signposting residents to access appropriate services and support
  • Carryout a range of administrative tasks
  • Working alongside the Housing Assistant (Property) to provide a seamless and flexible service to customers

Key experience and skills

You do not need to have previous estate or housing experience as we’ll provide an in-depth training programme covering all aspects of estate practice.

  • Demonstrate a good working knowledge of co-ordinating activities that stimulate and increase customers feeling of wellbeing
  • Excellent customer service skills, with ability to engage with multiple stakeholders
  • Be able to demonstrate and empathise with the needs of older people
  • Ability and experience of managing conflicting and multiple priorities
  • High level of flexibility and ability to travel

We need people who are friendly, calm and have the ability to work with a wide range of people. Being well organised and computer literate is essential.
