Lettings Officer, St Neots (6 months fixed term)

£22,819 per annum

37.5 hours per week

What you’ll be doing

In this varied post as Lettings Officer, you’ll help us deliver a first-rate lettings service and provide information and advice to our applicants and residents. As a Lettings Officer your role will be:

  • To provide a consistent and transparent lettings service
  • To be responsible for letting empty properties promptly to minimise loss of revenue
  • To liaise with local authorities to find out who they have nominated for properties
  • To end tenancies
  • To liaise with existing residents, and offer guidance to new ones
  • To work closely with our housing teams

Who we need

If you have experience in a busy environment where providing excellent customer service is vital, this could be the role for you. We need an experienced administrator who is well organised and confident using Microsoft Office, Outlook and other specialist software. You will also have the following skills:

  • A customer-focused approach
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to prioritise a busy workload
  • A positive, can-do approach
  • The capacity to work effectively as part of a team
  • A good level of IT literacy
