Investors in People

Gaining the Investors in People (IiP) is an achievement in itself, but Hanover has gained the Silver level, placing it in the top 5% of organisations which have been recognised for the IiP award.

Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM)

In October 2017, Hanover became an Institute of Leadership and Management Centre enabling the Learning and Development team to provide leadership and management qualifications at both Level 3 (A level equivalent and Level 5 (Degree level equivalent). These programmes of learning are designed, delivered and assessed completely internally providing a highly cost effective way for our people to gain relevant qualifications to support them both for now and tomorrow.

To support our managers in gaining this learning in a way that suits them and to enable them to gain learning to meet their individual development needs we offer the same learning modules in three different ways:

  • Individual learning modules can be attended as standalone workshops providing flexibility to study just the areas that will add the most value to an individuals development
  • Attendance at all the workshops within the full programme without the need to provide assessment evidence to gain a certificate of programme credibility from the ILM and free 12 month studying membership of the ILM
  • Completion of the full qualification programme at both level 3 or 5 including attendance at all workshops and provision of assessment evidence.  In this instance learners will be provided with an internal assessor who will guide, support and provide feedback on the provision of on-the-job evidence of the learning being applied
