For most of our Extra Care Housing estates we have agreements with the local authority to let a percentage of our vacant properties to people nominated by them. Ouston is accessible to Durham, where many more shops and facilities can be found.
Chester View is just off the A693 with easy access to the A1(M). There are regular bus routes through Ouston to Chester Le Street and into Newcastle upon Tyne via Gateshead.
The nearest railway station is at Chester Le Street, where services include Newcastle, Manchester and Southampton.
