Rental properties and leasehold and/or freehold properties
For most of our Extra Care Housing estates we have agreements with the local authority to let a percentage of our vacant properties to people nominated by them. Hanover’s agreement for this estate is that all of the allocations are managed by the local authority, Leicester City Council, who can be contacted on 0116 454 1008.
Conveniently located not far from Humberstone Park, Danbury Gardens Exta Care development in Leicester is sited directly opposite the medical centre. With 58 purpose built apartments, the estate offers great on-site facilities including shared gardens, residents’ lounge, hair salon and guest room. Midday meals are available in the restaurant, which offers a diverse choice of menu.
The properties are surrounded by attractive gardens - maintenance of the buildings and grounds are taken care of by the estate manager, who can also help with access to further support if required. The estate is close to the A6030, which is easily reached via the A47 or A563. Leicester is handy for to Junction 21 of the M1, the M69 and M6 also being within easy reach. Bus services operate to all the areas towns and villages from two main bus stations. There are three permanent Park and ride sites and a Skylink bus service to East Midlands airport.
Many rail routes are served by Leicester railway station including London, Derby, Nottingham, Lincoln, Sheffield, Birmingham and Leeds.
