For some of our Retirement Housing estates we have agreements with the local authority to let a percentage of our vacant properties to people nominated by them. Hanover’s agreement for this estate is that all of the allocations are managed by the local authority, Christchurch Borough Council, who can be contacted on 01202 495000.
Hanover Lea in Christchurch is a development of one bed 18 apartments and 12 bungalows with shared gardens, residents’ lounge and private car parking facilities. Some of the bungalows have their own private garden. The properties are close to local shops, post office and a church, with a doctor’s surgery a little further afield.
A professional on-site manager looks after buildings and grounds maintenance and repairs, as well as provides further help and support.
Christchurch in Dorset offers many attractions including castles, some scenic riverside walks, the historic Priory Quarter and a weekly market. Christchurch Quay has a good selection of shops and restaurants.
Christchurch sits on the edge of the stunning New Forest National Park. Hundreds of visitors are drawn to this area of natural beauty with it's forest ponies and woodland walks.
Hanover Lea is conveniently situated just off the B3073. Regular bus services run to the nearby villages of Mudeford and Highcliffe - and Christchurch is served by a mainline station with frequent trains running into London Waterloo, Poole and Weymouth.
There is also a regular bus service into the larger seaside resort of Bournemouth, just a 25 minute journey away.
