Witham is a town in the county of Essex. The high street offers shopping precincts and a range of small shops, banks and national commercial chains. The town also has two supermarkets.
Leisure facilities include Benton Hall golf and leisure centre, a pool club and a library. A 'River Walk' runs through the town and is home to a range of wildlife.
Bramston Sports Centre contains offers a range of swimming pools facilities and also includes squash courts and a gym.
The Witham Amateur Operatic society produces two shows a year using full staging and orchestra.

Transport links

Witham is served by Witham railway station, situated on the London Liverpool Street to Ipswich main line. Trains take approximately 40–45 minutes to reach Liverpool Street. The station is also the junction for the Braintree branch line to Braintree, Braintree Freeport, Cressing and White Notley. This development lies just off the main A12 to the east of the B1018.
