For most of our Extra Care Housing estates we have agreements with the local authority to let a percentage of our vacant properties to people nominated by them. Maple Court comprises 45 purpose built Extra Care apartments for the over 55s. An on-site manager looks after the upkeep of the buildings and can also provide support and assistance if required.

Conveniently located not far from the A692 Consett Road, the estate is easily accessible from junction 52 of the A1(M). Buses run from Durham bus station to Consett , which is a 40 minute journey. There are several other bus routes including the Red Kite 45 and 46 buses between Consett and Newcastle.
The nearest railway station is Durham, with services to Edinburgh, Manchester and London.
