Leasehold and/or freehold properties
For most of our Extra Care Housing estates we have agreements with the local authority to let a percentage of our vacant properties to people nominated by them. Hanover’s agreement for this estate is that some of the allocations are managed by the local authority, Worthing Borough Council, who can be contacted on 01903 239 999.
Rotary Lodge offers 40 one and two bed apartments amid landscaped gardens. Facilities include a restaurant, hairdressers, treatment room, two guest rooms, conservatory and lounge, where most social acitivities are held.
The buildings/grounds maintenance and repairs are all taken care of by an on-site manager, who can also advise further help and support if needed. A bus stop is close by with local amenities in a short walk.
Worthing is a seaside town on the beautiful West Sussex Coast. It offers an art deco pier, historical houses, the Carpet Gardens, theatres, museums and art galleries, plus plenty of shops and restaurants.
You’ll find sports facilities for a range of activities, as well as a number of parks and gardens in the area. For walkers, the Titnore Wood area contains some ancient woodland and a lake.
Rotary Lodge is situated just off the A24. Worthing is 10 miles west of Brighton, and 18 miles east of Chichester. Regular bus services run to nearby Shoreham-by-Sea, Littlehampton and Brighton - and Worthing is served by a mainline station with frequent trains running into London Victoria via Gatwick airport.
