Ipswich is a large medieval town in Suffolk on the River Orwell, known as East Anglia’s premier waterfront town. Black Horse Lane can be reached via the A1022 Civic Drive, not far from the A14 and A12. Ipswich railway station is not far away for services to London, Norwich and Lowestoft. Nearby towns are Felixstowe, Needham Market and Stowmarket in Suffolk and Harwich and Colchester in Essex. Stansted airport and Harwich International Port are within an hour’s drive.
