Situated near to Walters Woods, Chester View is just off the A693 with easy access to the A1(M). There are regular bus routes through Ouston to Chester Le Street and into Newcastle upon Tyne via Gateshead.
The nearest railway station is at Chester Le Street, where services include Newcastle, Manchester and Southampton.
