A professional on-site manager looks after buildings and grounds maintenance and repairs, as well as helping you to access further help and support if you need it.

This pretty market town has a wealth of specialist shops with unusual gifts, souvenirs and local produce; a good deal of these sourced from local British craft makers. Market days are Tuesdays and Saturdays. There are well renowned local tearooms, "olde worlde" pubs with beamed ceilings and hundreds of years of history or you can visit one of the local vineyards and enjoy tasting some of the great English wines.
Art and culture
The town retains a rural appearance and many very old buildings date from the medieval period onwards. Saffron Walden also features the ruins of the 12th-century Walden Castle. There is also a hedge maze in nearby Bridge End Garden. The garden, which lies off Castle Street and Bridge Street, dates from the 1840s.
Another tourist attraction is Audley End, the house and gardens are now owned by English Heritage and are open to the public. During the summer months concerts in the style of the BBC Proms are held here, typically an evening of music of diversity ranging from classical to rock to jazz followed by a fireworks display.
