Frinton-on-Sea is a small seaside town between Clacton-on-Sea and Felixstowe. The town has a long sandy beach, complete with brightly coloured beach huts.  The long promenade which stretches as far as Walton-on-Naze is popular with walkers. There are lots of quaint shops, coastal walks, and a well-established golf club.


Frinton was very popular with day trippers from London at the turn of the century and they helped develop the fine hotels, tennis courts, lido and summer entertainment programme. The McGrigor Hall in the town is home to the Frinton Summer Theatre which boasts a fine programme of plays and shows.
