Places to visit
Built in 1794, the Town Hall is a famous Hythe landmark with its ornate clock facing the covered marketplace. Overlooking the town for almost 1,000 years, St Leonard’s parish church stands at the top of the hillside. The famous bonehouse in the crypt attracts visitors from all over the world.
Running for 14 miles from Hythe to Dungeness, the miniature public railway provides a scenic ride across the Romney Marsh. It is also a good way to get to the sandy beaches along St Mary's Bay.
Hythe is a small coastal market town on the edge of Romney Marsh. The town is located at the eastern end of the M20 which provides fast access to Ashford, Maidstone, London and also to the M25. Hanover Court is on Whitegates Close, just off Stade Street and the A259.
The nearest railway station is Folkestone which has services to London St Pancras, Charing Cross, Dover Priory and Ramsgate. Regular bus services run to the surrounding villages and towns.
