History and culture

The Parish Church of St Mary Magdalene dates to the first half of the 12th century and is claimed to be the oldest parish church still in use in Greater London. The graveyard is maintained as a large nature reserve, with a visitor’s centre.
New football amenities have been provided at Flanders Field, where former England captain Bobby Moore used to play.
How to find us
East Ham is a suburban district of London and part of the London Borough of Newham. Hedgerow Court is conveniently located just off the A124 Barking Road, only half a mile from the town centre. It can easily be reached via the North Circular Road or the A13.
There are regular bus services close by to Barking, Ilford, Romford and Beckton. The nearest tube station is East Ham on the District and Hammersmith and City lines.
