Theatre and festivals

A diverse cultural quarter thrives in Hackney, with theatre, cinema, museums, art galleries, festivals and a great music scene. The Shoreditch Festival engages communities with cultural performances in one of Shoreditch’s most historic locations.

Now completely repaired and restored by the National Trust, Sutton House is a rare example of a Tudor red-brick house, also now established as an arts and education centre for east London.
