Warde Close is a large seaside development of 80 properties with shared gardens, residents’ lounge and guest room. The regular coffee mornings and other social activities give an opportunity to socialise with other residents, should you wish to do so.
The estate manager is on site every week day to assist with any queries you may have and also arrange any maintenance required for the buildings and grounds. A bus stop nearby provides a regular service to local amenities as well as the town centre.

Walton is a traditional seaside town with a fascinating history, wonderful walks, nature reserves and miles of golden sandy beaches. The small high street of shops includes a chemist, post office and convenience stores. Walton also has a bustling weekly market offering a wide variety of locally sourced produce.
The pier has an amusement park with tenpin bowling, a swimming pool, rides, bingo and refreshments throughout the summer.
The indoor bowls club at the Columbine Leisure centre hosts film nights and theatrical shows. It is located close to the seafront on Princes Esplanade.
Points of interest in the town
You can walk along the backwaters for an alternative view of Walton, which is extremely rich in bird life and geology. The Naze Tower is a local landmark built in 1721, which houses an art gallery, museum and café.
The John Weston nature reserve can be reached by the public footpath that’s stretches along the cliff tops. The reserve is owned by the Essex Wildlife Trust and is named after a leading Essex naturalist.

Walton-on-the-Naze is a small town in Essex on the North Sea coast. Warde Chase can be found just off the B1034 Kirby Road, which connects to the A133 and A120.
The town’s railway station connects to Colchester, Hythe and Frinton. A local bus service operates though the town to Kirby Cross and Clacton.
