The Turner Contemporary art gallery showcases historical and ultra-modern art. There are theatres, museums, bowling, golf course, bars and restaurants, as well as scenic coastal walks and local parkland to enjoy. An annual jazz festival takes place on a weekend in July. The Margate Museum explores the town's seaside heritage in a range of exhibits and displays.
The development is conveniently situated just off the B2051 right near the sea front. Regular bus services run to nearby Ramsgate, Broadstairs and Canterbury. It is served by a mainline station with frequent trains running into London Victoria.
