A sense of community is one of the great features that characterise Hanover estates. Our vision is for our estates to be at the heart of thriving local communities by becoming hubs of activity for local older people.
Our estate managers work hard to realise this vision by drawing together many local groups, including voluntary, public and private sector organisations, to support residents and older people living in the local community. Many Hanover estates have shared spaces which we open up to the community wherever possible.
Community partnerships come in many shapes and sizes, but all share a focus on making a difference to residents’ lives and making our estates great places to live. It’s all about helping residents to get the most out of local services and activities and using our assets to make a valuable contribution to communities.
We aim to be a partner of choice for organisations delivering services to improve older people’s lives and seeking to develop a presence in local communities. Further information about Hanover and what we do can be found in our Introduction to Hanover booklet.
